Eijiro Saito
(Satoshi Tsumabuki) has just graduate from the prestigious
Eidai Medical School, and is a intern at Eidai Hospital.
There, under the supervision of Dr. Shiratori (Tomokazu
Miura), he trains hard along with Dekune (Koji Kato) and
Munekata (Masatoshi Matsuo). Life is arduous for an intern,
and many have to take on other part-time jobs to supplement
their meager salaries. Eijiro chooses to work at Seido Hospital,
run by surgeon Dr. Hattori (Ken Ogata ). Eijiro likens the
OR to a battleground. He encounters many obstacles he must
overcome along his way to becoming a full-fledged doctor.
