Hiromi (Yuko Takeuchi), who works for a construction company as an
"office lady (OL)," was standing still. She's just got fired
even though she was working hard. She was so shocked, but she
started looking for another job and thinking that it might
be a chance from god.
A few days later, Hiromi was heading to the well-known
publishing company for job-interview with her kimono clothes.
Her friend's wedding party was prolonged and she didn't have
time to change her outfit. She made it without changing her
clothes in time, but interviewer fools her with some sarcastic
jokes as if she did it on purpose.
On the other hand, in another room of the company, Reijiro
Sakurai (Hiroshi Abe), a popular comic book artist, was having a meeting
with an editing staff. They were talking about the he was
supposed to get busy in the hotel for 3 months for writing
his next book. The person who accompanies with Reijiro is
Satsuki Kamokawa (Saori Takizawa). She is one of the good editors.
However, Reijiro has uncomfortable feelings about her.
Then, Hiromi, looking for the place to change her clothes,
came into the meeting room by mistake. Reijiro inspires
something to her and says he is ok if he can accompany with
Hiromi...

Under the Hiromi's hard work and Misako's encouragement,
Reijiro (Hiroshi Abe) was going to almost complete his first
new episode. Hiromi (Yuko Takeuchi) starts being respectful to Misako.
One day, Misako (Yoko Nogiwa) came home from the union's meeting,
but she looked so displeased because she found undignified
high school girls who were making up their faces in the train.
In the meantime, Hiromi was running busily on the hotel's
hallway to deliver Reijiro's manuscript to Tokyo as soon as
possible. However, Misako showed her anger and scolded her,
"Behave like a woman!!" Hiromi fiercely responded "Femininity
is already dead, and I want to live my life with my own style!"
But, her words were suddenly stuck in her throat after Misako
questioned, "So, what is your own style?" Hiromi slowly
realizes the real meaning of "womanhood" which Misako was
talking about.
Reijiro completed the second episode, and Hiromi and Reijiro
were in good spirit. And, Hiromi got paid for her first
pay-check. The salary was about 200 yen per hour, but she felt
happy because she loved what she's doing.
However, Koichi worries about her future to hear Hiromi's
salary. Actually, employees' salary has not been raised for
3 years, but no one could tell Misako about their wage
hike...

Reijiro's second manuscript was completed, and he and Hiromi
are in a good humor. In the meanwhile, Hiromi got the first
pay check. In fact, her salary was equivalent to 200 yen per
hour, but she felt happy because she really likes her job.
However, Koichi (Takanori Jinnai) is worried about her future.
Actually, his and other workers' salary have not been raised
for 3 years, but no one could tell Misako about their wage hike.
After finishing delivery his manuscript to Satsuki
(Saori Takizawa) and Muraoka (Masubushi)
from Kowa Publishing, Hiromi goes outside to escort them.
At that time, Hiromi sees that Koichi is getting into trouble
with a cute lady. He pushes her away in a hurry as soon as he
saw Hiromi...
On the other hand, Reijiro runs into his college mate, Komiyama.
Reijiro was shocked because Komiyama got the prestigious prize
in oil painting. Reijiro still had a complicated feeling in oil
painting which he gave up. After he knew that Komiyama got
prized, he takes an unpredictable action in the out of sight of
Hiromi...

Reijiro's work is so far so good. Hiromi was also relieving
that he was concentrating on his job. But, one guy visited
and offered him another writing project. Hiromi firmly opposed
him because her job is that she does not make him to take other
projects. However, Reijiro says he wants to take care of it
somehow. The guy was well-known in the publishing industry.
There was also a happening at Yuzuhara. Everybody is working
busy because it's a vacation season, and reservations from
regular customers were rushing in. Koizumi (Katsumi Takahashi)
and Koichi (Takanori Jinnai) were
going to get over because those customers were very important
to them. But, Misako declines their reservation so lightly.
All of Yuzuhara staff cannot stand her action, and they
complain...

Reijiro's comic series, "Gekka no Michi," was a boom as
soon as it was released. In especially, main readers are
women this time. Muraoka suggests him to attract more women
for his upcoming series. Then, Hiromi pushes her idea that
he should contain love stories in it, but her idea does not
click with Reijiro. He seems to have something bad experience
in love relationships. In the meantime, Hiromi got a phone
call from Kazuya (Hidetoshi Nishijima) and he says he wants
to see her as soon as possible. Reijiro makes fun of Hiromi,
but he hears Kazuya's confession, "I think I like you..."
Hiromi realizes Reijiro and Misako are listening on her back,
and she firmly asks Reijiro not to tell anyone. However,
Yoshie (Rie Shibata), who loves gossip, heard their

The weird accident happens at Yuzuhara. Yoshie, Midori and
Megumi see a ghost, and the rumor spreads. Misako scolded
them who were scared of a ghost, but they are out of control.
On the other hand, Yoshie gets mad because Hiromi did not
believe their story. The situation escalates, and Reijiro
finds a ghost in his room, and finally he tries to get out
of his room. Misako does not know what to do. At the time,
Hiromi suggests her idea to Misako that they should have a
party with all people at the room where a ghost showed up,
and solving the problem all at once. However, Hiromi gets
drunk and the party is going to be much
scarier...

The accident was happened again at Yuzuhara. Reijiro's work
was plagiarized and sold from a rival publishing company.
The writer was a new comer and Hiromi was suspected as a
person who exposed his work. Reijiro asserted that she had
nothing to the editor in chief, Muraoka. Reijiro did not
ask about the problem to Hiromi because he did not want to
make worrisome for her. On the other hand, Misako called
Kazuya to Yuzuhara because they are going to have the
memorial service of his father who passed away 7 years ago.
However, he says he will not attend because he did not like
that service which was organized by Misako. Hiromi hears
their conversation by chance, and she suggests him to attend.
But she hears Misako's unbelievable past and she gets shocked.
In the meantime, a guy calls Hiromi's cell phone, but she was
not there. From his curiosity, Reijiro checks out the message
in her voicemail. The guy who called Hiromi was from another
publishing
company...!
